You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket,
but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may
see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.
(Matthew 5: 14-16 NRSV)
I do not know if you have ever been to a zoo when they display animals that literally glow in the dark – it is a sight to see.
At Trinity we like to think that as children of God we glow in the dark. We draw near to the heart of God so we can reflect
the Heart of God in our valley.
There is a wonderful happiness and contentment that can come from being near that Light and letting it shine through us.
On Sunday mornings our Light shines through our worship, whether it is our 9:00 Traditional or 10:30 Praise service. During
the week our Light shines through Bible Studies, Prayer groups and Youth Programs, links are provided.
If you join us in letting your Light Shine, you can experience the deep joy in life that comes from being a part of God’s
mission in the world. I hope you will take this opportunity to discover where you might best fit in our family of faith. Our
intent is to link you to the area of growth best suited for you so you can let your light shine.
Our joyful, positive, loving spirit comes from being near the Heart of God.
