Time and Talent Opportunities

This is a list of ways in which members and friends of Trinity are invited to serve one another and our community. We hope that all who join our community find ways to use all of their resources, and root themselves in fellowship and worship with one another. Please contact the Church Office with any questions you might have about these ministries. 

Worship Ministries

Worship Committee: Meet every 2-3 months to assist Pastor in developing worship programs. 
Altar Guild:  Prepares Communion for worship. Works with a team assigned to one a month service. 
Projection and Sound Techs: Work with Pastor and Music Director to run the projection and sound at either or both services. Requires training. 
Coffee Hosts: Set up coffee and snacks for fellowship before Worship and cleans up after.

9:30 Worship Service
Scripture Reader/Prayers: Reads the Biblical lessons of the week.
Communion Servers: Assists Pastor with serving communion.
Greeters: Welcome people as they arrive for Worship.
Ushers: Hand out bulletins and assist people as they find their seats as needed. Guide people to communion.


Church Leadership

Church Council: (Elected Position) Help make the official decisions of the church with monthly council meetings, special meetings and working with committees.
Endowment Board: (Elected Position) Make decisions around disbursements and benevolence (especially Scholarships)  given from our endowment. Monthly board meetings and special meetings as called.  Property Committee: Work with others around property maintenance to oversee and care for the physical campus of the church.  Trinity Mission Support Team: Team members plan and promote fundraisers for various church projects.


Outreach and Caring for Others

Valley Restart Meals: Provide monthly meals for the residents of Valley Restart, a long-term housing program. Be a part of a team that prepares, serves, and provide financial assistance with the program. New teams forming soon!
Helping Hands: Organizes reception for funerals.
Homebound and Hospital Visitation: Care for our members in need by visiting them, bringing them communion, and being present. Training from Pastor available.
